Internal valves for enhanced LPG/NH3 tank safety

Internal valves are installed in LPG tanks as a safety measure to prevent spillage if piping is damaged or tanks are tipped over. They are commonly installed in conjunction with compressors and/or pumps in stationary storage tanks, bobtail delivery truck loading and unloading lines or in-line installations.

Product description

The excess flow functionality of the internal valve shuts off flow automatically if there are large changes in pressure. The ball valve feature allows for manual shut-off by a lever whereas remote control is possible using other actuators. The internal installation increases safety dramatically by avoiding the shearing of the valve in terms of mechanical impact.
